About
The Congo tetra is the largest and most spectacular of the African tetras. Adult males display elongated dorsal and caudal fins with filamentous edges, and a rainbow iridescence that shifts with the light.

Feeding
Omnivore. Large flakes, pellets, brine shrimp, bloodworms and vegetables. Robust appetite.
Breeding
Oviparous. Substrate egg scatterer. Large eggs take 5–6 days to hatch.
