3. User Accounts

3.1 Account Creation

You must provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

3.2 Age Requirements

You must be at least 13 years old (or 16 in the EU) to use TankLogbook. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you upload (tank data, photos, notes). By posting content, you grant us a license to use, store, and display it to provide the Service.

• Contains malware or harmful code
• Is offensive, harassing, or discriminatory
• Is spam or unsolicited advertising

5. Subscriptions and Payments

5.1 Free and Paid Plans

We offer both free and paid subscription plans. Features vary by plan. See Pricing Page for details.

5.2 Billing

• Paid subscriptions are billed monthly or annually
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled
• You're responsible for all charges incurred

5.3 Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription anytime from Settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds.

5.4 Refund Policy

6. Acceptable Use Policy

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

• You will not attempt to obtain information or content outside the scope of aquarium keeping
• Your interactions will be logged for security and legal compliance purposes
• Attempts to manipulate the AI tools may result in account suspension or termination

TankLogbook reserves the right to block, suspend, or terminate access for users who violate these usage rules.
