About

The Kubotai Rasbora, also known as Neon Green Rasbora, is one of the smallest aquarium fish available. Its translucent body with intense neon green reflections makes it a living jewel in planted nano aquariums. Large schools create a dazzling visual effect.

Behavior & Temperament

A tiny, peaceful fish that swims in loose schools in the middle section of the aquarium. Extremely shy, it needs dense plants to feel secure.

Feeding

Omnivore. Accepts only micro foods: crushed micro flakes, freshly hatched baby brine shrimp, microworms (vinegar, grindal) and paramecium.

Breeding

Oviparous. Scatters microscopic eggs among mosses and fine plants. Breeding is difficult, the tiny fry require infusoria in the first few days.

Care Notes

Densely planted nano aquarium with mosses. Very gentle flow. Soft filtration (sponge). Feed with live micro foods for best results. Avoid larger tankmates.

Compatibility

Ideal only for nano tanks with tiny species. Compatible with cherry shrimp, other microfish, and snails. Any fish larger than 4 cm may prey on them.
